SUMMARY:SIP + SUPPORT | International Day of The Girl | Tickled Pink + World Vision
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first-ever Sip + Support event\, a special gathering to celebrate International Day of The Girl\, a global day dedicated to raising awareness of the challenges girls face and promoting their empowerment. \nThis event is brought to life through the collaboration of Akarana Eatery\, World Vision\, Girls Skate\, Be Hypnotherapy\, and Tickled Pink\, all coming together to support and make a difference for young women around the world. \nAt Sip + Support\, we’ll explore how we can collectively contribute to this mission\, combining our voices\, resources\, and actions to uplift young women globally. \nAll ticket proceeds will be donated to World Vision\, supporting initiatives that address critical issues such as gender inequality\, access to education\, and ending child marriage. \nWhat’s in store? \n\n8:00 AM: Coffee and mingling\n8:15 AM: Introduction to Hypnotherapy with Bec from Be Hypnotherapy – Kim’s personal hypnotherapist\n8:35 AM: ‘Sip + Support’ with Kim Crossman\, hosted by Rochelle\n9:15 AM: Optional skateboarding lesson with Girls Skate (gear and coaches provided)\n\nWe’ll also be screening a short\, heartfelt documentary from Kimberley and her husband Tom\, which shares their recent experiences in Uganda and highlights the global issue of child marriage and sexual abuse. If you’re bringing children and would like to preview the documentary beforehand\, please get in touch. \nThis event is more than just a morning of coffee – it’s a call to inspire\, support\, and uplift the next generation of female leaders. We’re creating a space where women\, families\, and partners can come together to make a real impact. \nWhy International Day of The Girl Matters\nGlobally\, girls face unique challenges simply because they are young and female. From limited access to education and healthcare to early marriage and gender-based violence\, the barriers to a safe and empowered future are significant. International Day of The Girl aims to change that narrative by empowering girls\, raising awareness\, and creating a global movement to ensure they are treated equally\, respected\, and supported. \nBy joining Sip + Support\, you’re not just attending an event – you’re contributing to a global movement that’s creating brighter futures for young women everywhere. \nParking: Plenty of parking onsite\nNote: A videographer and photographer will be present to capture the day\, but we’ll only share content with your consent. Feel free to share your own memorable moments with us on social media! \nBring a friend\, a child\, or your partner – all are welcome. Let’s make this a morning of connection\, empowerment\, and meaningful action. \nCheers\,\nRochelle \nPurchase tickets here
