At Akarana, we’re committed to creating spaces that bring people together, support wellbeing, and strengthen our community.
The Joyce Fisher Room, located on the ground floor of our clubhouse, is primarily home to our New Navigators programme. When the room is not in use, we’re pleased to make it available to local community groups, charities, and purpose-led micro-businesses through our Community Access Programme.
This initiative provides complimentary access to a welcoming and accessible space for activities that positively contribute to our community.
We believe great community spaces should be shared. Through this programme, we aim to support activities that encourage learning, wellbeing, connection, and community engagement.
The Joyce Fisher Room may be suitable for:
This programme is designed for organisations and individuals whose work aligns with community wellbeing and positive social impact.
To ensure the space remains accessible and fit for purpose:
Please note that this is not a commercial venue hire offering and is not suitable for large-scale, ticketed, or high-revenue events.
To support our on-site operations, all catering and refreshments must be arranged through Akarana Events or the Akarana Eatery. Eligible community and charitable groups may be offered discounted catering options.
If you have a community initiative, workshop, meeting, or programme that you believe would be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.
Get in touch with our team to discuss your idea, check availability, and learn more about the Community Access Programme.
