Twilight Series is back for 2023 and we’ve got some awesome new plans!
- If you purchase Full Series Entry before the first race day (16th Feb) you’ll save yourself $95 … which is one-and-a-bit evenings of free racing! (This special offer is available to RAYC Members only)
- RAYC want to make this Series one to remember, so will be putting on beers and hot chips for sailors and volunteers in the Eatery as soon as the boats are all de-rigged
- Bring the family down to watch you race – the Eatery will make sure the kids’ toys are out each Thursday evening and are currently working on a special Twilight x Eatery happy hour menu!
- Just like last year you just need to turn up – our RAYC coaches will have your boats rigged and ready to roll!
For those new here: The Akarana Twilight Series is a social sailing series held on Thursday evenings during daylight savings by Royal Akarana Yacht Club at the Hyundai Marine Sports Centre.
RAYC has Lasers across all three rig sizes that are available for hire for the Twilight Series, which will be rigged by our coaching team ready for you to show up and go racing! Alternatively, you can bring your own boat if you prefer.
Racing is open to both RAYC Members and non-Members, and takes place inside the sticks at Okahu Bay so is perfect for friends and family who are parked up at the Eatery bar to cheer you on. With up to three races per evening, it’s the ultimate quick-fire series to get the heart pumping!
