Highlight Event: Fergs Kayaks Cardboard Craft Challenge
Sunday, February 16th
Put your creativity and teamwork to the test! Teams will design and build water-ready vessels using nothing but cardboard and tape, then race them through a simple course. Will your craft float or fold? There’s only one way to find out!
Team Details:
- Team Size: 2-6 participants
- Pilots: 2 team members will paddle the craft
- Ages: 11 (Year 7) to 15 (Year 11)
Materials Allowed:
- Cardboard
- Sticky Tape
We provide:
- Buoyancy Aids
- Helmets
- Paddles (or bring your own handmade version!)
Award Categories:
- Survivability: Can your craft complete the 15m course and return intact?
