1. Membership Approval

All new memberships are subject to approval by the RAYC General Committee. The Committee reserves the right to decline or withdraw membership at its discretion.

2. Member Involvement
RAYC membership is intended for individuals who actively participate in and contribute to the club’s community, sailing, and on-water activities. Members are encouraged to uphold the club’s values and spirit of engagement.

3. Individual Membership Use
Membership benefits are provided for personal use and active involvement within the club. Benefits may not be transferred, shared, or used for commercial or promotional purposes.

4. Event Space and Eatery Discounts

• Discounts for venue hire and Akarana Eatery apply to personal, social, or family occasions (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, small gatherings).

• Discounts may be considered for small business meetings directly involving the member, at management’s discretion.

• Corporate or large-scale commercial events are not eligible for member discounts.

• All bookings are subject to availability and standard venue policies.

5. Equipment and Facility Use

• Access to club boats, surf skis, and facilities is for members’ personal recreational use or during approved club events.

• Members must comply with all safety, operational, and supervision requirements.

• Equipment must be used responsibly and returned in good condition.

6. Corporate Memberships, Partnerships and Sponsorships
RAYC and AMSC does not offer corporate memberships. Businesses wishing to engage with or support the trust or club are encouraged to explore corporate partnership or sponsorship opportunities, which may include brand exposure, event collaboration, and access to facilities under separate agreement.

7. Conduct and Representation
Members are expected to act in a manner that reflects positively on RAYC. Misuse of privileges, misconduct, or breach of club policy may result in suspension or cancellation of membership.

8. Amendments to Benefits
RAYC reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw membership benefits or discounts at any time without prior notice.
