School Fundraiser Voucher & Support Policy 

At Akarana, we are proud to support our local community and especially our local schools. To ensure we can provide meaningful support while managing demand fairly, we have put the following policy in place regarding school fundraising requests:  

Voucher Sponsorships 

• We donate up to $500 in vouchers per calendar year to support school fundraisers. 
• Voucher support is limited to schools in our immediate local area. 
• All requests must be formally submitted through our application process (email or form). 
• In the spirit of partnership, we kindly ask that schools help promote our school holiday sailing programmes or community events in return — for example, via school newsletters, social media, or noticeboards.  

School Fundraising Opportunities 

• We also offer fundraising opportunities for schools through special promotions. Schools can promote these offers to their community and receive a portion of the sales as a fundraising return. 
• To enquire about a fundraising partnership, please contact us directly to discuss options and timing. 

School Holiday Programme Giveaway 

• We offer a limited number of “Sail and Play” programme vouchers (2x participants for 1 day) each school holidays as part of our fundraising support. 
• These vouchers are highly valued and available by application only. 
• Preference is given to schools that can assist in promoting our programmes to their community.  

Additional Support Opportunities 

We’re happy to further support school fundraisers through: 

• EDM placements: Selected fundraisers can be featured in our email newsletters. 
• Poster placement: Schools may display approved posters or flyers within our venue to boost visibility. 
• We offer event spaces and rooms at discounted rates for schools hosting fundraising events.
