The BOP 380 is a new category 3+ 380 nautical mile race taking both monohulls and multihulls down to the Bay of Plenty. The race starts at Orakei, leaving, Whale Island (Moutohora) to port, Volkner Rocks (Te Paepae o Aotea) to port, Burgess Island (Pokohinu) to port, finishing back at Orakei (or the reverse direction!)

- 30% of crew (rounded up) or 2 people whichever is higher, must have current Advanced Sea Survival training
- Skippers / Boat captain are required to email a hi-res photo of the entered boat under sail to sailing@rayc.co.nz before documentation deadline
